Marching band allows individuals to perform gratifying displays of music and visual performances. Participating in this activity is an incredible experience.
The band uniform is an integral element of the band's pageantry, but it is not always the most enjoyable part of being in band. Why? Read on.
Has anyone at the uniform companies ever worn a wool uniform in Texas in August??? Or is it worse in Florida? Louisiana? Even Chicago?
Why did my band uniform come with a 16-page instruction guide on how to clean and store it? (yes, really, some of them do)
You want me to do what in this?
Um, this hasn't been cleaned in how long? Is it supposed to have something growing in it? And how old is this thing?
How many layers is this thing? Is it that hard to make it feel like normal clothing? Why does it take forever to dry after it rains?
The gym is enough. Why should marching in a band uniform make you sweat?
Does it come with one of those long sticks to scratch the itch that's like 4 layers deep?
Our marching band uniforms are old school, boxy, not form-fitted at all, not easy to move in, hot, and hard to maintain.
They are old, smelly, and itchy. Show dirt very easily and ugly
Ours have pieces falling off, bibber straps snapping, and look outdated! Our kids deserve better!
They are horrible! They break, smell like cheese, they are ugly, and very uncomfortable!
Our bands uniforms are ripped and worn out. They're only 8 years old and the worst quality. The sashes are torn, buttons are ripped apart. My bibs are ripped in multiple places. We won 1st place almost all season, we need uniforms that match our dedication and effort. Also they're quite literally crusty and smell worse than the drum closet 😳
There are holes in the bibbers, the jackets are really uncomfortable and heavy, during the hotter months, it's tighter on our body and it makes it really hard to breathe and to move around. The hats are too tight on our heads and they don't fit everyone's head. You have to dry clean them, and it's a struggle, because stains don't come out of it, as well as the overall look of it has worn out.
It's time to reinvent your band uniform. McCormick's has a marching band uniform that combines the benefits of comfort, durability, ease of care, infinite design potential, and affordability.
